Jeff Lackey Quality Scholarship Program

The Jacksonville / Northeast Florida Section of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) has established the Jeff Lackey Quality Scholarship Program to:

• promote education in Quality
• encourage consideration of the Quality profession as a career
• apply quality principles/ concepts to the chosen field of study

The scholarship is an award of $1,000 to be used in a course of study in any undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university.

The scholarship committee will determine the applicability of any course of study to the scholarship award criteria based on the applicant's understanding of and commitment to Quality as it applies to the selected field of study.

The scholarship is named after Jeff Lackey who is an ASQ Fellow and a mainstay of the Section. He was the Chairperson from 2001-03. The scholarship is named in his honor due to his efforts to revitalize the section.
